Shaquille O’Neal is a legendary basketball player, winning a long list of awards including Rookie of the Year (1992-1993) and the MVP Award (1999-2000). He is one of only three to have won the MVP, All-Star Game MVP and Finals MVP in one year. He is also a successful rap artist, releasing four albums with the first going platinum.
In 2005, O’Neal became a national spokesman for Safe Surfin’ Foundation and appeared on “Good Morning America” to endorse the organization.
“Today’s criminals are hiding behind computer screens, fake names and fraudulent identities, all with the intention of exploiting and harming our youth,” O’Neal was quoted as saying in a press release.
“I’m proud to help the Safe Surfin’ Foundation get the word out to parents, kids and communities about Internet safety and to help law enforcement track down and lock up sexual predators.”
