This is the first phase of the $245,000.00 grant-funded ballistic vest program designed to put this life saving piece of equipment on law enforcement personnel who, for various financial reasons associated with their agencies, are unable to afford this protection. General Herring, The Honorable Secretary of Public Safety, Brian Moran and Deputy Secretary of Public Safety, Tonya Vincent will be in attendance to make the presentations. The Attorney General, Secretary and his Deputy Secretary will tour the ICAC Task Force Forensic lab in Forest, after the presentations of the ballistic vests.
