The Safe Surfin’ Foundation (SSF), an organization dedicated to
fighting Internet predators, is moving into high-gear to prepare
for the next year! SSF has launched a new website and a monthly
newsletter to keep its supporters aware of all of its latest
activities to protect America’s children. There will be a new
emphasis on “results-oriented activism.”
“We’re bringing Safe Surfin’ to a whole new level. We decided
that we needed a new website to cover everything we’re doing and
a monthly newsletter to keep pro-active citizens engaged with
us,” said Sheriff Michael Brown, chairman of SSF’s board and
founder of the organization.
One of the goals of the new website is to become a “one-stop
place for everything you need to protect your kids,” explained
Jason Campbell, SSF’s new Executive Director, who is
spearheading the expansion.
The website will have educational resources, explain SSF
programs and offer guidance for activism. It will also showcase
SSF’s new outreach initiatives to schools, houses of worship,
law enforcement and other interested groups.
“The new website and newsletter will allow us to quickly
mobilize supporters, contact government officials and respond
immediately to events and opportunities,” said Sheriff Brown.
SSF will reach thousands of citizens all at once with new
monthly newsletter, which will also encourage feedback from
supporters. The objective of the newsletter, Campbell said, is
for supporters and donors to see how their help is changing and
protecting lives. He emphasized that the ultimate goal is save
thousands of children from being abused and suffering life-long
trauma or even death.
